The Pro Players Foundation Gala and Auction is one of the highlights of the year and the official kickoff to the annual PPF Golf Classic. The 2011 Gala and Auction is set for May 22nd at the Hilton Dallas - Southlake Town Square in Southlake, Texas followed by the Golf Classic on May 23rd at Timarron Country Club in Southlake. The Gala, Auction and Golf Classic are the largest fund-raisers for the Pro Players Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to “Enriching the lives of Children”. The funds collected will assist disadvantaged youth in the North Texas region through a variety of the Foundation's initiatives. The Gala gives supporters and members of the Pro Players Foundation a chance to celebrate the previous year’s accomplishments while looking ahead to the challenges of the upcoming year. In addition to a cocktail hour, VIP room, dinner and music, the night also features a Wine Pull and a Live and Silent Auction.

Last year’s honorary chairman for the event was former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, while the emcee was Sportscaster and former Dallas quarterback Babe Laufenberg. Also in attendance at last year’s function was Wade Phillips, the Cowboys former head coach.
